Around & About
There's plenty to see and do in and around Lavenham. The Church of St Peter and St Paul is one of Suffolk's finest ecclesiastical buildings. The Lavenham Sinfonia gives regular concerts there on Sunday evenings Guided tours available - June to October
Previously a prison the Guildhall is now a museum packed full of local history.
The local art galleries and shops are all well worth a visit.
The Lavenham area also offers a number of good circular walks (maps available in the bar) and an audio tour of the village available from The Pharmacy.
Further away, BurySt Edmunds, the coastal towns of Orford, Aldeburgh and Southwold and Constable Country are all within easy reach for a day trip. Racing at Newmarket and some good golf courses are also within easy reach.
